Hey, All: Whenever I post here I am often asked what I am going for. So far I have been pretty heavy on the reverb and would be grateful for some help using stock plugins. So, what am I going for? I will try to explain as best as I can. First, here is what equipment I have and the current track setup: I have a professional condenser MIC, a Presonus AUDIOBOX 96 USB MIC interface, etc... As far as track setup goes, I have my dry Vox track being sent to both a REVERB and DELAY tracks. For the delay track I currently have it set on the default stock - Vocal Slapback preset. For the reverb I am using a third party plugin called MTurboReverb from Melda Productions. Here is the layout of my tracks. What I want is more of a sound as if I was in a recording studio vs. a live performance. At the moment my reverb has way too much echo and sounds HOLLOW like I am in a tunnel. I do want some level of reverb of some kind but due to my inexperience I'm very uncertain where to start looking because of the vast choices that I have available and so I could use some direction here. Tracks 1, 2 and 3 are the dry vox tracks........LV (Lead Vocal) LV 2 & LV 3

if you're not recording in an acoustically "dead" space it could be that a sensitive mic, such as a condenser, is picking up sound reflections in your room, which may be contributing to your problems, possible fixes for this (apart from acoustic treatment) could be to use a less sensitive mic / sing closer to the mic

is there a 'fat plate' or 'warm plate' preset in your verb? You might like to get a copy of Valhalla Vintage Verb ... hmmm they have nice new delay also [no, I don't sell their products but inexpensive ways to get quality]
