okay so i got a small room, and i want to upgrade my shitty cakewalk speakers to some yamaha hs8's or Hs7's. undecided as of yet, need to go test them both out again. and again after that probably. my question is i acknowledge the fact i will need some bass traps. but is there a way for me to adhere it to the wall with out damaging the walls? also i have a window, would it be worth putting some ply up in the space of the windows with some bass traps? I have done some research on the matter but most of the info i have found is what to use and where they go. Room dimension is 2.2m x 1.8m i have a large desk, 2 guitars on the wall, 3 others in a guitar rack and a built in cupboard. what have you guys done, and what do you think should be the minimum i do to my room? with advice about the window. thanks!

also. is a corner desk a shit idea?? i thought it was good as its a small room and give me more room. but every thing i read and watch now shows a straight desk (which is also have but not in that room. i thought the corner desk was a good idea as it gives me a pretty decent triangle directed to my head. (early into my investigation this is) damn it now im obsessing over it. maybe ill buy a few traps, border up my window, reflection points and corners and leave it at that.
