My offside ABS reluctor ring has recently cracked, which confuses the ABS no end; after trawling through the forum I've found links to driveshaftparts.co.uk who appear to offer outer CV joint kits for a very reasonable sum. However, I notice that they don't seem to mention the 2l 20V anywhere; does anyone know if the 2l 10v outer CV joint (which is shown on the site) is the same and would fit? I'm generally very wary of cheap parts, and especially CV joints having been supplied one for a Toyota in the past which was unbelievably out of tolerance and simply didn't fit, but I didn't find any complaints here about these people so I'm willing to risk it (given the cost of a complete shaft from Volvo!) This is the CV joint on driveshaftparts.co.uk can anyone confirm that it should fit a 1993 2l20v automatic 850? Cheers, AJ

I can only say that I'm fairly sure that the OD of the ring is the same regardless of model based on the fact that an 850R is the same as a GLT, but the actual joint on the R is bigger.

Thanks... I can't see any real reason why the 2l20v and 2l10v should use different joints, and so I've ordered one anyway. Price isn't so impressive when you factor in the outrageous delivery costs to the Highlands though :-\ Cheers, AJ
